1. Maps are either updated 'live' by streaming from my mobile phones hotspot via wifi, or by me just panning along my expected route the day before using my home wifi using the map I want at the zoom level I want (then repeating at another zoom level or map if that is my want).
2. It would be nice, however, to have them as modules in and under one "Topographic Maps" umbrella app, instead of flooding the phone with two dozen icons for all the maps as separate entries.****DON'T BUY IF YOU NEED UP TO DATE MAP TILES.****** Map tiles not updating, Examples are A46 Binley flyover and A120 Little Hadham bypass are missing off your map tiles.
3. SUSPECT IT IS NOW ABANDONWAREI have had Great Britain Topo Maps loaded on a very old (almost stone-age in tech terms) Samsung 7 inch tablet for a year now, which sits on the dash of my Freelander.
4. Another great addition would be to add comments on the suitability of the tracks for walking... Great, good, rough, overgrown, etc or be able to add parts that are missing or changed with a note to explain.
5. Maybe add something for mountain bikers? Thanks to a scale that is detailed enough to decipher important landmarks, all these topographic maps are pretty good.
6. Still an excellent package regardless, especially as it's constantly being improved by developers.Been using this app for nearly 4 years, first as the free version then I bought the Pro.
7. Great to be able to download several maps of an area for offline use.
8. download maps at a specified zoom level only.
9. The overlays and map layers are amazing with loads of detail I've got my paper maps as back up just in case I lose power.
10. I've tried downloading a map area but found it very slow (it is an old device), and a bit clumsy with choosing what zoom level I wanted.
11. Over-all very happy with GBTM.If I could afford it I'd definitely get pro package, 3 destinations helps so much, easy to set up to your requirement not sure if has what 3 words addedHave used this app for 2 years.
