Why should I report an Issue with metroMATE by Adelaide Metro?

1. I will be uninstalling.Too difficult to use, not clearly set out, the interface and basic setup is confusing; especially for newcomers! Just needs to be a simple stress free app where you can enter all your info onto one simple page that includes, a weekly and daily view that you can switch between depending on your travel schedule with real time tracking info.

2. It'd be very convenient for people on the run without time to get a computer and log onto the website everytime they travel.The app stops and timetable need to be kept in constant update to avoid issues such as I have experienced today.

3. The most fundamental thing a user wants to do is nominate their trip origin & destination and, in doing so, be able to select from their personalised lists of both origins & destinations.

4. Directed me to disembark and walk 100m to a second bus (which had departed 5 minutes earlier) instead of simply staying on the first bus to my destination.

5. Tips I have are to fix those issues, and then also add what is advertised about metromate in metro buses and let us keep track of our metrocard balance.

6. Even the Adelaide Metro website is easier to use than this app.I have tried every variation I can think of to allow me to plan a simple trip from city to home.

7. The app repeatedly fails to identify a full journey, in some instances ignoring the first of 2 buses needed.

8. It works strictly through Google Maps unless you map your bus, tram or train off this app itself, otherwise you're directed to Google and Google is nowhere near as accurate.

9. I cant track my journey, choose different options, or see if my bus is coming.

10. NOW, type in destination and it transfers over to google maps to use from there.

11. All i really want to do is be able to see when the next train will leave Seaford so i can plan my journey.

1. Fix metroMATE Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart metroMATE: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the metroMATE App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "metroMATE" » Open metroMATE by Adelaide Metro » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for metroMATE » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear metroMATE by Adelaide Metro app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from metroMATE servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "metroMATE by Adelaide Metro" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check metroMATE app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, metroMATE might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall metroMATE. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall metroMATE then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing metroMATE not working

2. Fix metroMATE Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make metroMATE be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to metroMATE not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, metroMATE may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
