Why should I report an Issue with Smart Scan – PDF Scanner, Free?

1. Made my phone virtually unusable with it's pop-up ads, litterally unusable - try to make a call and an ad pops up which you can't dismiss other than clicking through.. and then it pops up again! These developers need to get thrown off Google Play .It is the BEST I have used.

2. focusing bit of a problem sometimes have to take second scan ,not big problem but will be excellent if able to press on image to refocus simmilar to other apps and then take photo given you sharper image first shot .

3. as other users have said, it makes your phone unusable because there is no way to close them out other than uninstalling the app.

4. Instead I've spent my time uninstalling other apps until I found the guilty one.as far as functionality, the app works great.

5. bo delete button if shot not clear you have to go back on phone button or save than delete.I think the developer is a con artist - my personal assumption based on this app's sudden increase in ads.

6. I could've given three stars for it's functionality but I'm not going to encourage users to download this app when there are plenty of other alternatives available.

7. I would be OK with a one-time payment but will not enter into a subscription--that's huge $$top scanner torch on subject before hand lightens up document rather than just a flash which tends to bounce back on some images .top idea also able to see document in low light level .

8. Get it, use it, kill it with extreme prejudice!It took me a while until I noticed that it was this app that was displaying ads at random times even if I wasn't using the app, most of the time after unlocking the phone.

9. I know it's ad- supported so I expected ads in the app, but full-screen ads when I swipe to a different page on my home screen?- Thats intrusive and an overreach on the developer's part.

10. Now they already have a high rating, the 1 star reviews aren't making a dent in the total score now the ads have virtually bricked my phone.

11. Would have gotten five stars and rave review but absolutely unacceptably intrusive!! To never before seen heights! Ads come up constantly and whether you are even using the app.

1. Fix Smart Scan Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Smart Scan: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Smart Scan App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Smart Scan" » Open Smart Scan – PDF Scanner, Free » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Smart Scan » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Smart Scan – PDF Scanner, Free app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Smart Scan servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Smart Scan – PDF Scanner, Free" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Smart Scan app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Smart Scan might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Smart Scan. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Smart Scan then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Smart Scan not working

2. Fix Smart Scan Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Smart Scan be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Smart Scan not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Smart Scan may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
