Bacon Customer Insights

1. Very frustrating when I'm waiting 15 min between each test and im answering the questions right...Took quite a while to fill put all the information only to get to the training video quiz that is super glitchy.

2. I watched the on boarding video but couldn't take the quiz because the app wouldn't work.I download the app, signed up and started to build my profile.

3. I don't understand how I can successfully complete jobs and get paid when the app refuses to open properly.So quick and easy to start workin, great gigs most of the time.

4. Other than that I passed the on boarding quiz multiple times and it won't get the checkmark for me to see jobs.

5. I understand people need to be reliable but to get booted from the app can be horrifying it happened to me qhen I relied on it for a checkI downloaded the app a month ago and there hasn't been any shifts posted or any notification of upcoming shifts.

6. It is a clean GUI and a amazing idea but whoever is managing the app doesn't mind the customer/ user suffering while waiting 30 seconds between each question as the app lags and buffers.

7. I've also passed all the required assessments and was certified for different hospitality jobs but nothing ever comes up.

8. Its a shame this app is garbage because the concept and process of getting jobs is so great.It has potential.

9. Now that I've finally passed the quiz, it's saying I need to retake it.

10. I can't even get passed the first question on the quiz.

11. Classic passive aggression that you can expect from a tech company.I wouldn't even give this app a single star but I couldn't move on without it? Anyway, this app is horrible.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Bacon Issues

1. Fix Bacon Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Bacon: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Bacon App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Bacon" » Open Bacon - Flexible Work App » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Bacon » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Bacon - Flexible Work App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Bacon servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Bacon - Flexible Work App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Bacon app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Bacon might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Bacon. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Bacon then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Bacon not working


2. Fix Bacon Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Bacon be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Bacon not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Bacon may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • After I complete the shift for the first day, my payment always arrive within 24hrs. However any shifts completed after day 1 it takes beyond 72hrs which leaves me struggling financially for any small bill due or perhaps gas for work the next day. Please fix and respond, I'm now waiting on payment from 8/8/21-8/10/21 and is now 8/12/21.
