Breethe Customer Insights

1. I have the paid versionI've been using Breethe for a couple of months now, and since I've upgraded to the lifetime membership (they were running a promo for the holidays), the app has stopped playing music for some of the instructors.

2. I have an android (Pixel 3), so I can't speak for what the Apple folks experience, but I have taken things off my phone (at 65% storage used at the moment) and I also close out any apps before using the Breethe app, in hopes of making it last a little bit longer before it stops playing.

3. Then the music or meditation stops playing, very abruptly, which can be a little jarring depending on what I am doing while listening to the app.

4. Additionally, when I play any of the sleep music or meditation (and I fall asleep), the app refuses to go back to the main page.

5. Sigh, the bugs still existHelps me sleep, which is miraculous! But since the last update, the meditations are so quiet on my Samsung they are BARELY audible when my volume is all the way up.

6. I hope they figure it out.I absolutely love the content on this app!!! The variety of meditations, both in topics/themes and in length, are fantastic.

7. I loved the variety of sleep stories, meditations, etc, but it does NOT KEEP PLAYING.

8. But on the iPad, the meditations have a lot more background noise and music, which I find distracting.

9. It would have a RAVING FIVE STAR review from me if it did not cut out literally every time I play any music from the app, and often during meditations- sometimes I'll get 6 minutes, sometimes just 2 minutes with the music.

10. If not the entire thing, then either the voice or the music will freeze, making for a very jarring and frustrating experience.

11. There were various other small glitches in the app.Like the other reviews say.....this is my favorite mediation app as far as content, but the bugs make it impossible to use (and increase stress).

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Breethe Issues

1. Fix Breethe Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Breethe: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Breethe App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Breethe" » Open Breethe - Meditation & Sleep » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Breethe » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Breethe - Meditation & Sleep app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Breethe servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Breethe - Meditation & Sleep" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Breethe app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Breethe might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Breethe. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Breethe then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Breethe not working


2. Fix Breethe Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Breethe be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Breethe not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Breethe may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I have had two charges on my debit card from this company. However, when I try to login I'm getting the message,"This email is not associated with an account. Please refund 2 charges of $14.06 for a total of $24.12 to my debit card on file. If more information is needed, email me as soon as possible.

  • I have emailed Breethe support numerous times and had no reply. When I signed up after the trial, I wanted the lifetime offer for $119. However, they have signed me up with the annual subscription and ignored my emails. Please, please, please reply and sort this out asap

  • I have been dealing with chemo for some time now. I just hung up from speaking to Apple where I noticed I have been charged $89 a year for this app that I tried once and found it to be not what I had expected. I had contacted you right away and to cancel and see that it was not cancelled. I need it to be cancelled immediately and my money refunded. As I am sure you can see where it has NOT been used. Please cancel and send me a confirmation email to file.

  • I have a free 2-week trial and then canceled it. I then received several emails from Breethe with various discounted offers for the "premium membership". I processed a order and payment for $119 which was for the lifetime membership however it never came up as an authorization on my visa nor did I get any email to confirm the purchase. I also still see my account in trial membership since my 2-weeks has not yet expired. Can you please check on this as I do not want to submit another order and have 2 orders eventually get processed. Thank you.

    P.S. The green button below says "send complaint", this is a contact form consumers to your company and not necessarily a "complaint"... Perhaps the green button should be labeled "send inquiry" or something similiar. :)

  • I noticed whilst out the country £87.99 has been paid to apple.com/bill and can only assume its for the annual subscription to the Breethe app. I didnt realise the 14 day trial was over as I was away and dont want to proceed with purchase. I did think I had managed to cancel on my phone whilst out the country but there is no refund on my account yet (it might still be in progress as it was only around the 8th June I did this). Can you ensure this is cancelled and the money refunded please. Thank you

  • I have never signed up for this app and discovered I have been charged $12.99 on my Visa credit card ending in 4019 for the last four months since November 26. I sent out a claim 3070–6 622–9823 using my WaynKris 1@redacted email address for a refund and was denied. If you can cancel this subscription I will not have to cancel my credit card, unless you can verify that this is a fraudulent subscription made by someone else. I have never had an android only an iPhone and again I do not have this app on any of my devices nor do I show that I have a subscription, so I cannot cancel that way.
