Why should I report an Issue with HouseBook - Home Inventory?

1. Otherwise goodGreat app for people with ADHD and issues organizing/remembering where you put things! Premium is useful to have, but isn't necessary -- features aren't overly restricted for free users compared to other apps.

2. For example there are a couple of nice databases that do far more and cost less without artificially limiting the number of records.I tried out a lot of inventory apps and settled on this one since it had the best UI and had most of the features I desired.

7. It's perfect if you are the head of your house's domestic affairs, or you work really closely with your partner (ie sharing phones w/o suspicion), but if you need privacy or to compartmentalize tech yet share work (companies/organizations), it's not cloudbased.

1. Fix HouseBook Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart HouseBook: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the HouseBook App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "HouseBook" » Open HouseBook - Home Inventory » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for HouseBook » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear HouseBook - Home Inventory app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from HouseBook servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "HouseBook - Home Inventory" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check HouseBook app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, HouseBook might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall HouseBook. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall HouseBook then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing HouseBook not working

2. Fix HouseBook Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make HouseBook be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to HouseBook not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, HouseBook may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
