TiviMate IPTV Player Customer Insights

1. So far this IPTV app is amazing! I have been trying to purchase the premium version for 24 hours but keep receiving an error and the only support received addresses payment errors.

2. During my research I found out about the TiviMate Companion app so I gave that a try and HOLY SMOKE.....IT WORKS!!! Upgrading review to 4 stars only because the purchase function doesn't work inside the app as intended.This app has been amazing.

3. This app deserves 5 stars even AS IT IS, and I am excited for the future updates.Worked great for a long time but for about a month now it’s been terrible on both my firestick and nvidia.

4. They should have an alternate method of purchase....like on a website where you can log into your account!!!! Please fix (Error retrieving information from server DJ-DFERH-01) UPDATE: So apparently if you own an Nvidia Shield this is a common problem.

5. I'd love to see a DVR feature added in the future (with the ability to save shows across the network to a NAS or PC etc), and it would also be nice to be able to scroll horizontally to see shows coming up further down the timeline (especially if a DVR gets added).

6. After having tried most of the popular IPTV players out there, I have to say that this is by far the most elegant looking, feature rich and stable IPTV player I've come across (v2.1.5 on Nvidia Shield).

7. Also if you record a show and go to watch it, the picture would frezze up and the sound would continue.Absolutely the best IPTV playlist management app out there.

8. The record function only records for 4 mins OR if it records an entire show, the playback will skip, loop, or freeze.

9. It works flawlessly on my Nvidia Shield, but for some reason it's not working for my Firestick.

10. It is definitely tivimate.Update 6 June 2021: While watching TV, all of a sudden I lost ALL groups, favorites and everything!!! What is going on? I've never had a problem with this app until tonight...very disappointing.

11. Now that it's added the ability to edit channel names, that means many more hours of intense tweaking.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix TiviMate IPTV Player Issues

1. Fix TiviMate IPTV Player Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart TiviMate IPTV Player: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the TiviMate IPTV Player App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TiviMate IPTV Player" » Open TiviMate IPTV Player » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TiviMate IPTV Player » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear TiviMate IPTV Player app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TiviMate IPTV Player servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TiviMate IPTV Player" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check TiviMate IPTV Player app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TiviMate IPTV Player might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall TiviMate IPTV Player. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TiviMate IPTV Player then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TiviMate IPTV Player not working


2. Fix TiviMate IPTV Player Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TiviMate IPTV Player be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TiviMate IPTV Player not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TiviMate IPTV Player may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Purchased lifetime subscription and I am not at all happy. The epg never works no matter how many times I update it. It works with no issues on smarters so it's not my iptv provider.
    Also, I have to load playlists 2 or 3 times in order for tivimate to load it up to be able to watch programming.
    If there is no fixes on your end can you kindly REFUND my payment asap. Feel free to reply asap. Thanks!!

  • I am getting "An error occured: ParserException" when playing a recorder program from a recording in an SMMB share on Windows 10, from TiViMate 4.3.0 on GoogleTV can you please help. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. The tecording is from a program on TV1 on playlist

  • Every time I try to record, I get a parser exception error. I want to set the default recording to a different folder on a second usb connected to Sony Bravia 2021 TV but Tivimate fails to set the destination folder and comes up with a failure message. Both errors are both frustrating and making the paid for subscription not worth it.

  • I'm a tivimate premium subscriber. I use it on an Nvidia Shield. It worked well until recently. In the past 1–2 months it has had a series of problems. This began with no long recording properly (cutting out after a few moments) but then spread to channels freezing after maybe 5 minutes, with tivimate also freezing when this happens. Internet postings suggest this is because of problems with your latest version updates. v4.2 is badly affected and v4.1 fairly badly affected. I've had to start using the tivimate competitor OTT Navigator which is working fine... My tivimate subscription comes up for renewal in a few months and I'll have to cancel unless you fix this and make the app work properly again. Please let me know what you're doing to when I can expect the app to work again. Thanks, Tyrrell

  • Something is very wrong with your tivimate app latest version 4.3.0. After 2-3 minutes, it'll freeze the stream. Sometimes it'll freeze for 10-15 seconds as if it's a buffer but after 1-2 seconds, it'll freeze again and it will completely crash my Nvidia Shield TV Pro. The shield won't be responsive during this. You can't hit home to send to main system menu, you can't double tap home to pop up the running apps to close it. You have to basically wait for TiviMate to fully crash and then the Shield becomes un-frozen. Yet when I use the external player feature, there are zero issues.

  • After clearing the cache on several apps, tivimate is missing several episodes of tv series I watch. Also when I go to watch any episodes that are there, I get constant buffering and a message saying HttpDataSourceException. My fire stick is saying my network signal is very good. Thank you

  • I have the app on 5 devices and every time I walk away or turn off for a while the app does not work , telling me there is an error even after reinstalling the app it does not work l wanted the yearly subscription. I did not expect to be constantly uninstalling reinstalling etc.

  • Two issues. First issue is that I cannot set up recording to a USB drive. Your system will not allow me to point the recording storage location to a separate USB drive which is not a fire TV stick. The top most menu is only within the fire stick, it will not let me select another drive which is plugged in right next to it on the Roku TCL TV. The second issue is that a large portion of my channels playing on my second device ( Android TV box ) are muted. I can directly hear them inside of the TV smarter's app that the m3u list was imported from, but when opening your app and player, about 1/3 of all channels are muted. This is very frustrating and not what I paid for. Please help.

    I use your app on my smart box for my TV. I bought the premium version last April but I had to uninstall the app yesterday. I can't seem to be able to log back in my premium account now that I have reinstalled the app. I bought the version of the app that is supposed to be 'forever'.   • I just installed Tivimate 3.4.0 in my Windows 11 PC through Nox Emulator. I was able to boot the app and put in one playlist. I could not activate Premium - error message says cannot sign in. I have 3 other devices installed with no problem - Apple TV, Fire TV, and Android TV. Somehow, the PC app will not let me activate Premium.     When I complete the online application it says User Name already taken. Please use another.Problem is the application only has 3 spaces on it..Email . Password. Confirm Password.
