I've used it successfully (and the ads were annoying), but had trouble on a domestic flight last night, where the onboard entertainment insisted that no in-flight entertainment could be accessed through this app, only through Q-streaming..! Something's gone wrong somewhere, and I'd recommend having a backup entertainment option for flights.I don't see the point of this app.

2. I started watching a second movie, sat through the same adds and movie started, again without issue, only problem was my flight ended before the movie finished.Application just opens browser.

3. I patiently sat through about 3 minutes worth of adds, a few seconds of black screen and my selected movie played start -finish without issue.

4. My phone is hooked up to the onboard WiFi, I can check emails and go to Google etc but I cannot access the entertainment app.

5. The new version comes out and it will not even connect, it tells me i do not have a wifi connection and they put the blame on my tablet despite everything else including the previous version working prrfectly.

6. The app just threw up errors every time I tried to watch something, and kept coming up with messages saying there were announcements when nothing was happening.

7. At one point I had a pop up message saying I can double tap for options but it didn't work for me.

8. It's functions are substantially more limited than the traditional plane entertainment unit that it tries to replace.

9. Lucky I had planned my own entertainment as back up.Did not work on Android 13 for me.

10. No flight maps to follow your progress.Simply put it does not work.

11. And why do we have ads again? I didn't see any fast forward options while watching a movie.

1. Fix Qantas Entertainment Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Qantas Entertainment: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Qantas Entertainment App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Qantas Entertainment" » Open Qantas Entertainment » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Qantas Entertainment » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Qantas Entertainment app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Qantas Entertainment servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Qantas Entertainment" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Qantas Entertainment app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Qantas Entertainment might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Qantas Entertainment. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Qantas Entertainment then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Qantas Entertainment not working

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Qantas Entertainment be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Qantas Entertainment not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Qantas Entertainment may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
