Pupil Distance PD Glasses & VR Customer Insights

1. I couldn't hold the phone and activate the shutter at the same time with one hand, but there was a 5-second timer button that solved that problem.Super easy, and although fiddly to do if you have joint problems physically, even I managed to get a useable pic with card in correct place and straight.

2. (While the setup boxes are bright, they are super thin, so when you have to take your glasses off for measurement, you aren't able to easily make out where to line up your head.. maybe make that a little bolder. The measurement was consistent with previous measurements using other methods.

3. This made it very awkward for me to position the crosshairs, and made it very difficult to get an accurate result. After numerous measurements taken with a paper PD ruler my husband and I ended up with different numbers.

4. Getting the card straight and flat in the picture, as well as keeping your eyes open as wide as possible (think old Dracula movies) will improve accuracy since you control the outcome.Incorrect measurements despite several attempts.

5. Although it would be better if they gave you the option to place it anywhere you want since lefties would be screwed if the button was hard set on the middle left.Couldn't get an accurate reading, zooming in is broken.

6. Will definitely be keeping this app in my library. The app is easy to use, but if your phone is large, holding the phone and a card makes it hard to press the take picture button.

7. Then he tried another method that gave us a repeating number, but when you're buying glasses on line you want to be absolute, right!?? We thought the app was worth a try to ease our minds from second guessing ourselves.

8. It's awkward to hold the phone down low so you can reach the shutter button with your thumb.Works great.

9. Got one number for 3 tries, then got a slightly higher number (1 mm higher) the 4th time after looking into the distance when taking the photos.

10. This led me to decide using a ruler and mirror instead, where I found it was around 3 or 4 mm different from all the results from this app.

11. App controls make it very easy to align markings and works out the different PD's for relevant vision requirements.
