1. Doesn't show mileage on lock screen (???), you have to take out your phone to open up the app to see (i don't hold it, it's in a fanny pack, for the PURPOSE OF NOT HAVING TO HANDLE MY PHONE AND DISTRACT MY FLOW), the announcements are sporadic, tracking is inaccurate...i wish there was a better selection of running apps, bc i wouldn't be keeping this one if there were.Great app when it works properly.
2. It keeps track of distance, time, pace, allows you to pause a workout, shows a trace on the map of the path you took, and keeps a history.
3. Basically, if the app is running, do not touch your phone, otherwise you get a new workout. This does exactly what I want in a run/walk tracker, without forcing you into an online community, like MapMyWalk seems to do.
4. The free version still breaks down each mile time, distance, and total workout time and distance.
5. Worked great for years, I've used this app for about 4 years now, but now in thw past few weeks it's been randomly stopping while I'm in the middle of my run, so I get back and find out it was timing me but not tracking the distance, super annoying.
6. However, say I am running 4 miles and sprint the last quarter and then stop the app right at 4 miles, the app always picks up an additional 0.1 or 0.2 miles and says that last little bit is my fastest split.
7. I understand the purpose of advertising, but this has gotten out of control a bit.Buggy. You can't unlock your phone while the app is on, otherwise the workout starts over, AND the new one overlaps the existing one, so you have two simultaneous workouts going on.
8. This app is great for tracking time but, in the free mode, it is very lacking in its ability to correctly assess speed.
9. However, the location of the pause button combined with the manner in which ads are implemented make it very difficult to pause or stop a workout while your phone is in a workout case.
10. The last three runs I've been on, even after clearing up memory, this app has crashed in the middle of my workout.
11. And I don't wanna leave my phone running without turning off the screen, because I don't want to drain the batteries.
