Why should I report an Issue with Stocktwits - Stock Market Chat?

1. I have to cycle between other charting apps to use this one, and that really shouldn't be the case, for an otherwise enjoyable app.Full of funny and helpful people, although, like any social media platform, watch out for trolls.

2. Auto-playing audio ads that start any time you open a ticker's board, with seemingly no way to pause them, continually looping, and pausing any other media you may have been playing in the background.

3. The only complaint I have is that the app doesn't seem to want to send me notifications on my galaxy note 9, I'm not sure if this is because the app hasn't been optomized for this device yet or some other issue.

8. I have had an account for over a year and all of a sudden on my tablet, my watch list is empty and can't log into my account on my phone.

10. For example, if you're using windowed YouTube with a video playing, the ad that auto-plays on stocktwits will pause your video on its own.

11. Though its quite entertaining to read posts between bears and bulls.It does what it's supposed to do, it provides an interface to the web site.

1. Fix Stocktwits Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Stocktwits: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Stocktwits App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Stocktwits" » Open Stocktwits - Stock Market Chat » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Stocktwits » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Stocktwits - Stock Market Chat app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Stocktwits servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Stocktwits - Stock Market Chat" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Stocktwits app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Stocktwits might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Stocktwits. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Stocktwits then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Stocktwits not working

2. Fix Stocktwits Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Stocktwits be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Stocktwits not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Stocktwits may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
