2. So as directed, I open my church authenticator app, but it also instructs to enter a code texted to my phone.

3. NO MORE TEXT MESSAGE CODES FOR MY TWO-STEP AUTHENTICATION!!! YAY!!!This app doesnt recognize the qr code, and also says every code given on the website is invalid.

4. (Using Samsung Galaxy S9.) Would be nice if the church login worked with other similar apps like Duo Mobile (since that's the one I use at work).

5. After reinstalling all my apps, it won't text codes to my phone for verification anymore.

6. Why is all this secrty necessary? It church information, not my SS# or bank acct number... No explanation helpI can't say how much I love this app...it's a simple thing...but it saves a lot of headache.

8. when I first started using this app when I tried to log in it would send me a are you trying to log in question and tapping yes would allow me to login.

9. Why develop their own app when most of us already use two-factor ID apps for work or other sites?There is nothing but a white screen when the app opens.

11. When O make a new password it is never good enough, it wants multiple words numbers and symbols, how am I to remember this? I need to track down paper & pen each time I go through all of this.

1. Fix Church Authenticator Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Church Authenticator: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Church Authenticator App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Church Authenticator" » Open Church Authenticator » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Church Authenticator » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Church Authenticator app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Church Authenticator servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Church Authenticator" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Church Authenticator app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Church Authenticator might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Church Authenticator. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Church Authenticator then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Church Authenticator not working

2. Fix Church Authenticator Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Church Authenticator be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Church Authenticator not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Church Authenticator may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
