About National Consumer Helpline NCH

2. An aggrieved consumer can register grievance by either calling the toll free number 1800-11-4000 or 1915 to talk to an agent to register or register online on the portal or through the Mobile App in which case the consumer gets an userid and password to lodge grievance. Step 1.

3. This Mobile App is an alternate way to register consumer related grievances in the portal The website was launched by the Department of Consumer Affairs to create awareness, advise and redress consumer grievances and act as a central registry for lodging consumer grievances.

4. Though all efforts will be made to address grievances made on the portal, if the grievance is not redressed to the full satisfaction, a consumer has choice to approach the appropriate Consumer Commission.

5. As per the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, consumers can approach Consumer Commission at the District, State and National level for dispute resolution.

6. For onetime registration, consumer is required to click on the signup giving details required and verifies through his/her email.

7. Any grievance received entered in the portal and a unique docket number is generated and given.

8. Grievances received are sent to the concerned company / agency / regulator / ombudsman, as the case maybe, for speedy redress.

9. The status of the complaint can be tracked through the Mobile App under the link “Track your complaint”.

10. Action taken is updated on real time basis by the concerned agency.

1. End up with failure of not sign up, due to lack of OTP not received.Bug in app sign up page, there is no last name box but on sign-up page it gives error for missing last name, No fix after many months.I struggled to get the repair done to the laptop which is under onsite warranty.

2. There is no last name field in the form yet on clicking the submit button it says please fill the last name.There is a lot of difficulty in sing up, even after entering the full name, the error "feel full name" comes again and againI'm not able to register on the app.

3. Frustrated each time I've filed complaint on nch and it resolved within a day or two at Max.Am not able to sign up.

4. Despite giving all my details properly, it says that I've not put my last name.

5. Then I raised a complaint in NCH web portal,I got full refund and laptop was returned within 3 weeks.

6. I sent dozens of emails to laptop company but issue not resolved even after 3 months.

7. After months of keeping the case in progress, they simply repeat the problem as the solution and close the case without waiting for the consumer's response.

8. After issue is resolved we need to close the complaint giving appropriate comments.

9. I couldn't go back and when I went to the register grievance menu, it loaded a fresh page.

10. But ads should be like "Jaago India par hum sote rahenge"So far the experience has been good they always resolve issues.

11. When I selected the file from my phone and selected upload, it just loaded the home page.
