1. Customer service has improved.This app is trash! I had to use it for an emergency call to the Philippines, it kept disconnecting, and worst it kept playing back a recorded conversation.

2. Everything is simple and easy to understand, and call quality is much better than my last service.App still need work.

3. I just changed phones and i cant seem to find the old app that worked so well on the Google play store..... instead they have this new app called V2 which is not user friendly.

11. BRING BACK THE OLD APP OR I WILL SWITCH SERVICES......Pros: Better rates of international calling than most other international apps.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix VIP V2 Issues

1. Fix VIP V2 Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart VIP V2: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the VIP V2 App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "VIP V2" » Open VIP V2 - International Calling » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for VIP V2 » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear VIP V2 - International Calling app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from VIP V2 servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "VIP V2 - International Calling" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check VIP V2 app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, VIP V2 might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall VIP V2. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall VIP V2 then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing VIP V2 not working


2. Fix VIP V2 Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make VIP V2 be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to VIP V2 not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, VIP V2 may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
