1. Too much fluff overall.So far, the update fixed the problem, now it allows the phone to be connected to the app, it still takes a little longer, but as soon you exit the app two times, it finally worked, the other issue is when you want to choose your own song, it crashes... but most of all, the EQ still works, when you change the radio on your phone, it's still a bit confusing... my idea is having the buttons for the radio on the phone... anyway, thank you for letting bluetooth devices allowed on the phone 😊Love the control I have over the system with the app.

2. An additional note that I've noticed, force stop has no effect on this app and even if I'm not using my phone this app will drain the battery from full charge to 0% in about 2 hours and show that it is not running at all.WOW! The 01.29.23 software update gives new life to this app.

3. Half the time, the damn sync app doesn't even want to connect to my radio, then I have to shut off bluetooth, turn it back on, then change the audio settings again.

4. Every time I connect my phone to my Bluetooth, I have to go in and make sure all my audio settings are the same.

5. You have to go back to the music app and unpause this is the same for playing back the same song.Use to work great, but after the recent update it does not work properly.

6. Meaning after I got out of my car, it started to play music; so I have to restart my phone.

7. But will still Play music through the Spotify app playing through the radio and Still have to open a music app to link up and play.

8. And, to top it off, I've noticed a significant drain on my phone's battery after installing this app.

9. Since the main screen has everything displayed, it reduces the need to change screens, resulting in less distraction while driving.

10. Took me a good minute to get it to connect (might want to try low-energy bt).

11. If I opened another app to play music, it would remain open indefinitely.

1. Fix Pioneer Smart Sync Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Pioneer Smart Sync: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Pioneer Smart Sync App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Pioneer Smart Sync" » Open Pioneer Smart Sync » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Pioneer Smart Sync » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Pioneer Smart Sync app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Pioneer Smart Sync servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Pioneer Smart Sync" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Pioneer Smart Sync app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Pioneer Smart Sync might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Pioneer Smart Sync. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Pioneer Smart Sync then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Pioneer Smart Sync not working
