Why should I report an Issue with Smule: Karaoke, Sing & Record?

What's up with that?I used to love this app, now I can't actually find a song to duet because you can't duet old songs, you made this app no longer worth my time, if you change it back I would be more than happy to return but until then, you lost a singer and unless you return to the old ways, people are gonna stop downloading.

2. I am blown away by the amount of people who sing music outside of their native language and sound better than the originals!! they're some incredible vocalists on here! ❤️The song book and the music that is on there really needs to be worked on.

3. I think the VIP thing is stupid, especially the part where you can only see your last 100 songs, seeing as I can't track my vocal progress without paying a bunch of money for an app that is decent for people with generalized, popular music tastes.

4. I've noticed that if you are off pitch, at any point in a song, it seems amplified in some cases... but other than that it's been great singing with people who I will likely never meet.

5. You've got too many names in the song book of people on Smule when you should only have the name of the band and the name of the song so you can find what you're looking for.

6. I love being able to retry a challenging part in a song without having to start over.

7. Now it just sucks... also what happened to the option where you could change how loud the backing vocals are? If there's an option to hear yourself while you sing I think that would be cool.

8. I strive to make the most beautiful music I can.. I'm able to do that thanks to SmuleThis app is awesome if you have a good way of recording your music.

9. Only one suggestion, for 10 bucks a week, i think that we should be able to skip forward and backwards in the recording of songs, so if your part 2, and you are say, rerecording because of an error ect.

10. This app is nonsense...Almost everything is VIP and you can't even sing by yourself unless you create your own song to sing to...Also, sometimes it doesn't even let you join someone else even though it is free.

11. Just saying if you want this app to be/remain successful, keep it the way the users like it.If it weren't so expensive I would give it five stars! but there aren't nearly as many options for vocal consistency as I would like to see.

1. Fix Smule Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Smule: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Smule App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Smule" » Open Smule: Karaoke, Sing & Record » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Smule » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Smule: Karaoke, Sing & Record app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Smule servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Smule: Karaoke, Sing & Record" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Smule app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Smule might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Smule. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Smule then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Smule not working

2. Fix Smule Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Smule be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Smule not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Smule may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
