This app has an older version of the Play-Fi software, and is thus much better than the current Play-Fi app from Phorus, which keeps downgrading things, introducing bugs, and bricking speakers.My Powerhouse: Pioneer VSX-LX303 Play Fi beats Bluetooth and Chromcast in terms of quality & (surprisingly) connectivity.

2. My only suggestion is to work on the content and layout of the Music apps such as Tidal and Amazon...maybe a new logo a few months down the road! You guys are awesome 👌The app opens to an update screen with boxes to check before hitting ok to proceed.

3. It actually just ads an extra step to playing music.Connects so much faster to my mrx-3s but I really want a youtube music app in the music services selection for this to work best for me.Works great with my Pioneer Elite Receiver (vsx-lx102).

4. Bubblepnp better in this respect.Pioneer and onkyo must be financially broke, or abandoned play fi going forward.

5. The device firmware does update, but you must use the native play fi or phorus like app to accomplish.

6. The f4 does not behave has well as the similiar phorus p5....especially with Alexa.Started an auto-update with flags set to OFF after an un-zombied SIM park ( ~3 months) Playstore wi-fi update had completed.

7. The 'TuneIn' show my favorite radio is unavailable, although the 'TuneIn' in Pioneer Remote App can play this radio station.

8. I use this to control my Pioneer Elite speaker, because I like the preset buttons (can we have more speakers with preset buttons please?).

9. I highly recommend it!!Works OK with my pioneer streamer, however it plays album tracks alphabetically rather than by track number, very annoying and no fix.

10. All it does is play music through the music app.

1. Fix Pioneer Music Control App Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Pioneer Music Control App: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Pioneer Music Control App App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Pioneer Music Control App" » Open Pioneer Music Control App » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Pioneer Music Control App » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Pioneer Music Control App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Pioneer Music Control App servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Pioneer Music Control App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Pioneer Music Control App app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Pioneer Music Control App might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Pioneer Music Control App. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Pioneer Music Control App then reinstall.
