1. I work night shifts a few nights a week so getting reminders during the day doesn't help me when I'm sleeping.Useful but issues with puck are getting worse: not accurately syncing w/ or w/o background sync on (skipping whole bottles), loses connection & can't recalibrate w/o recharging despite having battery left, doesn't fully recharge, there isn't a low battery warning unless you go into the app each day or leave background sync on (pick battery drain or data loss), and only holds 2 days of data.
2. The background sync doesn't work, and changing the bottle name doesn't save the first few times.
3. It auto adds drinks but doesn't remove them, meaning I have to delete drinks in two places. It is captivating,it keeps me focused enough on my water goal.
4. It doesn't sync seamlessly in the background always, but the sensor I feel is accurate and all info is stored until it does sync.
5. Update: the dev explained that the goal is dynamic based on weather, so I've removed my bug report about this since it's a (good) featureA decent app that works with your Hidrate spark bottle.
6. Two big annoyances... When I delete an entry from my drink log the goal progress doesn't always update properly.
7. However, I will caution anyone who has sensitivities around food, eating disorders, and diet apps/systems that this app uses some of the same kind of language - ie, theres a "goal" intake, and it optionally calculates how much you "should" be drinking based on your height/weight, if you choose to enter that information.
8. Yesterday shows zero drinks in my log (I deleted all of them) but 40% progress towards my goal.... I also don't like the one way sync to fitbit.
9. When I go to delete them, it asks me to log in again but it doesn't change the incorrect total.
10. Fun Easter egg: changing the bottle name to include a color changes the icon color.
11. But no, you pay $5 just to be able to pick two colors for the lights instead of one.I'm giving this two stars because I really do love the Hidrate bottle.
