Why should I report an Issue with Gallery - photo gallery, album?

1. Not appreciated.Great Photo Viewer! I just switched from a Galaxy to a Pixel and found Google Photos lacking with basic features (can't rename files, can't view other folders; e.g., screenshots).

2. This viewer is AWESOME - has all the missing features plus some other great features - can edit in other apps, exclude folders - many features I'm accustomed to when working on my desktop! Really impressed!!This gallery app is better than any other one on here.

3. The folder feature is plus, but I wish you could make sub-folders because the folders add up! Also, I don't like the full-screen ad-takeover every time I open it! Convince me it's worth paying to lose that! All in all, very good, but if another comes along with more PC-like folder ability for organization, I can't promise not to "stray"!Amazing.

4. Also, you can't simply select a bunch of files and then say "exclude these", you have to manually go to the drop down menu and select "exclude folders", and then pick which folders you want to exclude.Decent app for photos, I like the option to require a pin to open some albums.

5. I'm okay with an ad ribbon at the bottom of the screen, but full-page ads and videos are really irritating.It gets the job done and it works fairly well, but the way it handles hidden files is really annoying.

6. It moved all my photos and folders over from my last app seamlessly, including putting back into order all of the pictures my old app jumbled up during their update.

7. Only one thing that is really annoying that keeps it from being a 5: sometimes when you try to move a few pics from one folder to another, it'll move them, but still keep them in the folder you're trying to move them from.

8. It moves multiple photos between folders easily and allows me to create folders and name them, making everything look like I like it to.

9. This is all I ever needed- a nice layout, a photo editor, and (hopefully) a favorites folder that won't empty itself (thanks Google!).

10. I have over 30,000 pictures and videos and it requires a lot of files and naming and numbering them all to keep them organized.

11. My only suggestion is that they should allow you to set up the gallery so that you can view your pictures by name and not everything default to by last added.

1. Fix Gallery Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Gallery: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Gallery App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Gallery" » Open Gallery - photo gallery, album » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Gallery » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Gallery - photo gallery, album app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Gallery servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Gallery - photo gallery, album" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Gallery app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Gallery might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Gallery. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Gallery then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Gallery not working

2. Fix Gallery Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Gallery be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Gallery not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Gallery may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
