Dancebit Customer Insights

1. Even if you have a 3-day trial! But when you email them to try to cancel, the response email says they will get back to you in 48-72 hours!!! I agree with others, I can find easier to follow dance videos on YouTube.

2. No contact from support after asking for refund.As I am now seeing I am not the only who had the problem of being able to cancel the subscription.

3. The exercises themselves are good, but could easily find similar on YouTube or other places just as easily.No way in my version to control my profile and for some reason it set me as 200lbs heavier than I am with a goal of more than I currently am as well.I want to like it I went to look at my past workouts and I can't see what I've done.

4. We'll see if I get my money back.There's no way to cancel the subscription before the free trial ends.

5. This is not worth your time and money when there are plenty of free dance workout videos on YouTube.

6. No way to cancel a subscription on your own and you have to wait multiple days for a response from their support.

7. Impossible to easily discontinue subscription, according to their terms of use-must discontinue 24 hours before the end of subscription or you get charged.

8. I thought there would be ballet stuff.Couldn't find a way to cancel before the free trial.

9. The app itself has very little variety in dance styles and workouts and doesn't allow you to change the customizations you made when originally taking their quiz.

10. finally found a way to contact them and was canceled, but not before they charged a full month.

11. Several of the videos don't have any sort of verbal instruction, and you just have to try to mirror the complicated steps that are happening on the screen.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Dancebit Issues

1. Fix Dancebit Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Dancebit: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Dancebit App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Dancebit" » Open Dancebit: Weight Loss Dance » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Dancebit » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Dancebit: Weight Loss Dance app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Dancebit servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Dancebit: Weight Loss Dance" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Dancebit app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Dancebit might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Dancebit. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Dancebit then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Dancebit not working


2. Fix Dancebit Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Dancebit be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Dancebit not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Dancebit may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I have been trying for DAYS now to even get in contact and talk about getting a refund. I Was charged for the use of a month but had no way of accessing the content. After contacting customer service the first time they sent me instructions on how to access the content- however after following the steps nothing changed, I replied telling them that and still haven’t heard back. I had a 2nd representative contact me a day later asking why I wasent interacting with the content and send me the same list of steps the first person gave me, once again I responded saying it did not work but alas I still haven’t heard from them either. So I swear to god I’ll be damned if I don’t get a refund for this unprofessional company. If your response to this is to once again give me steps on how to access content don’t even bother I’m so frustrated with this company that I want nothing to do with it anymore- and like how are you going to charge me, not give me access to anything I paid for and then not respond on how to help?   • Can you please refund my money $35.03 which I just paid today to get your app on my iPhone. The app didn’t allow me to open it up and do my dance workout it kept on telling me to choose your subscription but I had already paid this earlier. So I did then chose the free 14 day trial and it then opened up to the dance workout. But I went back into cancelling this and it has done that.

  • Created an account for my daughter (16yrs) on her iPhone. We have added a credit card and receive an offer for $29.99 a year. We tried to select it, but it hangs after stating it will send a message to a parent or guardian for approval. We closed out and went back in, the second time we did not get the offer so I just did the three day free trial and again we get a message that it will contact the guardian or parent for approval.
