Rather bothersome, and I could see someone feel defeated by this.This app is great for managing food intake and weight maintenance; however, if this app wants to compete with other fitness apps like Centre by Hemsworth, EQX Equinox, or 6 pack Athlean X, there has to be a video that shows proper exercise form and duration.

2. I would give it a 5 star if i could use it properly.I lost 25 pounds using BodyKey and only used the money I had been blowing on grabbing fast food to buy meal replacement bars/shakes and supplements.

3. You can only record 8 glasses of water a day, what if you drink more? Some free foods are coming up as having protein or carbs and other glitches like that make it discouraging to want to track food and make proper food choices to stay on the program.

4. I eat the same type of meals made up of multiple ingredients (like rice + curry + lentils + yogurt, etc.). So, if I can save this entire meal as one entity, it would be straightforward to add this one meal to my daily journal rather than adding multiple ingredients.This app has been okay.

5. Went through the 6 month program and lost 15 lbs using the app and Bodykey meal replacements.

1. Fix BodyKey SmartLoss Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart BodyKey SmartLoss: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the BodyKey SmartLoss App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "BodyKey SmartLoss" » Open BodyKey SmartLoss™ » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for BodyKey SmartLoss » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear BodyKey SmartLoss™ app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from BodyKey SmartLoss servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BodyKey SmartLoss™" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check BodyKey SmartLoss app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, BodyKey SmartLoss might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall BodyKey SmartLoss. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall BodyKey SmartLoss then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing BodyKey SmartLoss not working


2. Fix BodyKey SmartLoss Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make BodyKey SmartLoss be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to BodyKey SmartLoss not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, BodyKey SmartLoss may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
