1. Doesn't work on iOS device either.I don't know when this started, I'm going with when the phone Samsung Galaxy 21 5g version did the last update a week ago and I read this issue has been going on since Sept which is CenturyLink Mobil Security/McAfee isn't working...error message "somethings wrong, its not you it's us ...please try again Code 4 when I try to login...Uninstalling/installing the app didn't work....I'm concerned now about cyber security on my phone.My security app says this is a low reputation app and can take over everything and read and write over everything on my phone plus access passwords, bank accounts , and alter whatever it wants.

2. I'm not liking this app because when I'm out in public at a place where there's free WIFI, it automatically connects to that WIFI!! I don't like that because hackers can easily steal my personal information! Even after I turn off WIFI on my phone, this app turns around and automatically turns it back on like it has a mind of its own!! I prefer to use the data on my phone when I'm in public!! Uninstalling app!!Useless - you need to create a new login and then it tells you "something went wrong - its not you, it's us" - so why doesn't McAfee or Centurylink fix it??? Totally useless.So far so good.

3. The registration code that is provided is suppose to activate the service with my account and instead it takes me to an account sign in page and there is no option to create an account? What is going on here?I receive an email from century link as follows: Thank you for choosing CenturyLink Security by McAfee.

4. A simple note to ALL app developers! If your app is meant to run on tablets as well as phones, you should really consider that a great many tablet users use their tablets IN landscape mod - NOT portrait!Update: Since there is no indication this will get fixed and customer service on both sides cannot assist, I'm moving back to Bitdefender Security.

5. NOT letting my internet provider have that much access to my information, CenturyLink this is very unacceptable and you are overstepping boundaries making me question your integrity as a company.

6. Just open this email on the device you want to protect and start downloading - there's no extra charge to take advantage of it.

7. My son and I are also listed as alternative phone numbers on the account.

9. Since the last update I am unable to sign into the account.

10. I am deducting one star though since this app doesn't respect my tablets settings.

1. Fix CenturyLink Security Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart CenturyLink Security: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the CenturyLink Security App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "CenturyLink Security" » Open CenturyLink Security by McAfee » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for CenturyLink Security » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear CenturyLink Security by McAfee app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from CenturyLink Security servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "CenturyLink Security by McAfee" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check CenturyLink Security app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, CenturyLink Security might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall CenturyLink Security. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall CenturyLink Security then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing CenturyLink Security not working

2. Fix CenturyLink Security Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make CenturyLink Security be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to CenturyLink Security not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, CenturyLink Security may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
