My CenturyLink Customer Insights

1. 0 of 5 stars. The app works okay, I use it mainly for paying bills now, however the last few months I had to go back to paying my bill through my PC (Firefox web browser on Windows 7) due to the app throwing an error every time I attempted to log into it (seems to have happened after an update sometime between September to October).

2. It will also randomly lock my children's devices. If you enjoy a company that barely lifts a finger to help out when there's an issue with their "high speed" internet and requires several phone calls to get any work done, then CenturyLink is your ISP.

3. There are countless things that will be just as useful for paying your cable bill, e.g. eating a blt, chasing a chicken, shooting some h, throwing your phone at a passing car.

4. What I did to fix the issue was to Force Stop the app, then clear both cache & data for it from my phone (a full uninstall & reinstall isn't required, but I expect would also work).

5. Going in to phone settings to connect to wifi, instructions said to go back to the app to finish setup, but what they meant was press the "back" button on the phone.

6. Unless I missed it somewhere, it would be nice to have the option for logging in with a fingerprint to allow faster access. When trying to set up a replacement modem, QR codes and barcodes were too small to scan correctly.

7. My most recent experience required that I contact them to replace my modem due to slow wifi and connection.

8. When high speed is advertised as up to 10 Mbps, it's only true if you compare it to a 14.4 modem.Update to my previous review.

9. It's been saying that I have a problem with my modem for a while now when it is completely fine and it's the apps problem.

10. I was on the phone for over 1 hour and during that time, I was on hold for 90% of the time.

11. After doing this & restarting the app, I was able to log into the app again. The app works fine, however, there are two things about it I wish would be changed.
