1. Too bad, it used to be a really good app.I bought this app back when I had an iPhone, when it was on iOS only and once again on the day it came out for Android which was back on 12/30/13 (I still have the invoice email.) So WHY am I being prompted to buy it AGAIN with a subscription? I don't have an issue with supporting developers for the work they that they do, but I have a big problem with them trying to extort me AFTER I had already paid 2x on 2 different mobile platforms.
2. That, plus the fact that the ui is broken now (pressing certain things, including the option for upgrading to the ad-free version, makes the entire ui disappear until I restart the app) means I'll be finding a replacememt app.
3. I'm sure it will help me find items in the night sky.Even though I now have Star Walk 2, I wanted to keep this for the simpler layout which is sometimes easier to use when sky watching.
4. My issue is that back in 2016 I paid for the full version before a plan was introduced.
5. It works for some time, but suddenly stops. This app's functionality is one of the best I've found, but even when in night mode it shows blindingly white ads that ruin your vision.
6. This lacks many of the features that SW2 has but just like the difference between Solar Walk & Solar Walk 2, this has aspects that weren't incorporated into the 2nd version.
7. Greed like this is EXACTLY why people resort to piracy. The app works well, it isn't buggy or broken, but it has ads to help pay the people working on it, which isn't my issue.
8. Way, way too much bloat!I paid app and after some time developers stopped mantaining app, and they released new aplication very similar to this one, but you must pay again.
9. a few years of not using it, I went to look at some stars last night, was greeted with a payment plan system.
10. You can touch an object, star, planet, satellite and an info button will appear at the bottom.
11. So glad to see the full version I bought became a subscription service.
