1. I've only done 2 lessons but it seems like a fun way to learn another language.I've tried almost every language learning app out there and have struggled to stay focused and retain information.
2. Babbel gives just enough information without making the lessons too long like some apps, and I like how the sentences are real and useful and not silly like other apps.
3. Also, after it introduces new concepts through natural exposure, it follows up with micro-grammar lessons so that you don't go nuts wondering "why?" It doesn't leave you confused or hanging.Very frustrating.
4. I'm already at intermediate low in my selected language to learn but there's no way for me to test out of learning things like how to pronounce each letter or introducing myself.
5. They throw words at you in the sentence you've never practiced so trying to speak a full sentence without knowing the word first.
6. The publisher should have also included a learn while driving mode that lets you use the cars audio system without having to look at your phone.
7. Update - impossible to speak as lessons teach you sentences.
8. I consistently get incorrect answers on simple single syllable words with no real feedback on what I'm doing incorrectly.
9. Voice recognition feature, which was a strong selling point for me, is tremendously difficult to use.
10. After two days I went from very excited to completely frustrated.It has been really fun and engaging, however the oral response system seems lacking.
11. The sample lesson is one of the most basic lessons even though I said I already knew some Spanish.
