Simply Piano Customer Insights

1. And half of the time when playing notes in a training for a song, the whole part of you needing to play 5 notes it succesfully completed when playing the first 2 notes which is infuriating.

2. Once you know the first 5 notes, clearly you're ready and willing to give them money ig 🙄 don't get it, just look up some damn youtube tutorials.I am amazed!!!! my family literally just watched me learn 5 keys and learn to read sheet music with the 5 keys 20mins.

3. Maybe another time I'll shell out for it, but as I'm just trying to break into this hobby, I think I've like to at least bring the left hand into it first.It's a good app but not very accurate when it comes to listening the piano notes.

4. Practice mode is nice, but rewind is a lot more helpful.The free content ends right after the first lesson, learning the five notes of the left hand.

5. But for the love of all that is holy and good, give us the option to slow down the songs DURING the lesson so I don't have to beat my head against the piano until I unlock the song in "Play" mode where i can practice at lower speeds.

6. The prompts are incredibly helpful and it detects the notes you're playing and goes into practice mode if you make too many mistakes because it can tell you need a refresher.

7. That was very helpful! But as you progress, it ditches that method and just has you learn the notes, then play the song without hearing it.

8. In the early lessons, after it teaches you the notes, it will play you a snippet of the song, then invite you to play that same snippet.

9. Half the time it can't hear your piano, it's constantly advertising the guitar version, and worst of all, you literally cannot get past the first course without paying an OBSCENE subscription fee.

10. Also, when I talk, it registers my voice as if the piano was playing notes.

11. Don't do sketchy! UninstallPretty cool at first... It's neat that the app uses your microphone to provide feedback, and track your note playing.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Simply Piano Issues

1. Fix Simply Piano Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Simply Piano: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Simply Piano App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Simply Piano" » Open Simply Piano: Learn Piano Fast » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Simply Piano » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Simply Piano: Learn Piano Fast app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Simply Piano servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Simply Piano: Learn Piano Fast" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Simply Piano app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Simply Piano might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Simply Piano. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Simply Piano then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Simply Piano not working


2. Fix Simply Piano Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Simply Piano be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Simply Piano not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Simply Piano may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

Could you please help me activate it? The code: A1C3B66B I was very excited to start learning with this application, but I wanted to do a warm-up on my own first to get the most out of it.   • The app no longer communicates with the Yamaha SH2 silent piano through the electronics. It can only hear the notes played in normal mode using the microphone of the iPad. It worked before using bluetooth communication then stopped. The application does not appear to have any means of seeing how it is using the iPad nor does it have a way to send feedback.

  • Can you tell me whether you are planning on adding sheet music to each song/at each level. I am stuck in Somewhere Over the Rainbow in Essentials II and I would really benefit from being able to see/learn from the sheet music showing all the notes to play at once. It's frustrating keep going back to practice mode as this happens even if I get the notes correct if the app doesn't hear it.. Thanks, Harry

    Ich habe ein Novation Launchkey (-board) über USB/Apple Camera Adapter an ein IPad Pro angeschlossen. Beim Verbinden gab mir SimplyPiano die Nachricht, dass ein MIDI-Keyboard angeschlossen ist. Wenn das Programm läuft, höre ich beim Anschlagen der Tasten den Klavierton aus den IPad Lautsprechern. In den Übungen nimmt das Programm aber die Eingabe über das Novation Keyboard nicht an. Es ist nur die Eingabe über die am Bildschirm angezeigte Tastatur möglich.

    as the sceen on my smartphone is to small, i want to use the app on the iPad. After lookout on the Smartphone an Login on the iPad it‘s still not working. I paid for the premium account but now on the iPad it‘s only the free version. Can you help me?

    avant la date prévu. Je trouve inadmissible que l'on me prélève la somme de 139.99€ alors que j'ai résilié avant la date
