ClassDojo Customer Insights

1. It's constantly asking me to rate the app with no option to say I never want to, so here you go Dojo! 👎Since the last update, suddenly the app lags while I type a message to the teacher.

2. All other apps on my phone work fine.After last updates there were tons of bugs, but after reporting the issues, they fixed most of them promptly.

3. I like how a whole class announcement doesn't going into the message thread history at all and you can only see it in the class announcements thread.

4. Please- no more changes!I have been using class dojo for years since my oldest was in elementary.

5. It also won't allow me to send any picture in the messages to the teacher.

6. Also speech-to-text is spotty and doesn't work most of the time even though it works when I'm using other apps.

7. No other apps on my phone are having this problem, but I cleared the cache and restarted the phone anyway, which didn't help.

8. The enter key sends a message instead of moving down, and it no longer shows my announcements on every parents page.

9. I hope these new issues are fixed.I've enjoyed Class Dojo for several years.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ClassDojo Issues

1. Fix ClassDojo Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ClassDojo: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ClassDojo App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ClassDojo" » Open ClassDojo » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ClassDojo » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ClassDojo app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ClassDojo servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ClassDojo" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ClassDojo app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ClassDojo might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ClassDojo. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ClassDojo then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ClassDojo not working


2. Fix ClassDojo Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ClassDojo be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ClassDojo not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ClassDojo may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I would like to cancel the annual plus subscription for sure or my daughter did a mistake when trying to set up the App, I only used the regular one, I don’t wanna pay for the App.
    How long takes to solve this problem?

  • Hi, I won’t need a Class Dojo Plus option as my child’s teacher informed me that the free version will be sufficient. I have been trying to cancel the subscription before the free trial week ends but cannot find it in the Subscriptions on my device. Could you please cancel it before the free trial ends on Monday the 7th of February? Please email me the confirmation of the cancellation.

  • I have been trying to contact you guys by email and have not gotten a response back.. I am wanting a refund for my subscription, I thought I had signed up for classdojo plus monthly but I was billed annually.
