1. When I'm doing the speaking test, no matter how loud I'm speaking, it doesn't register my voice and says, "speak louder and more precisely." It also just glitches and doesn't record my voice at all sometimes, so I exit the app and start it again and have the same problem over and over.I couldn't wait to leave a review on this app.

2. There is way more interacting, and it actually lets me record my voice for lessons, and I can see my gray areas and improvements! The only thing is that it quizzes me on things we never reviewed, and it doesn't play the audio of the words.

7. Also, during the speaking part, it usually doesn't recognize the sentence you're saying no matter how perfect or loudly you say it and you just have to give up on that sentence.

8. I regret purchasing the yearly subscription due to this issue.I've just literally started to use the app a few minutes ago and I'm honestly just writing this review now because it was one of my practice lessons for the day.

9. And I really like the use of parts of movies, tv shows and youtube videos as examples for the lessons.

10. Studying with the tv shows I like and being able to slow motion, catching every sound of each word and imitating to improve inflection all at once.

1. Fix Cake Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Cake: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Cake App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Cake" » Open Cake - Learn English & Korean » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Cake » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Cake - Learn English & Korean app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Cake servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Cake - Learn English & Korean" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Cake app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Cake might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Cake. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Cake then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Cake not working

2. Fix Cake Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Cake be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Cake not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Cake may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
