1. I'd like to be able to tell you why but as mentioned, I was only able to use it once before the appearance of the White Screen of No Return and I think the experience was so traumatic I must have completely blocked it from my memory.The app is by far the clunkiest apps I've seen.

2. Swipe a full page( seriously!) , Variety of colors, login page is cluttered etc update : 3/15 - one quarter passed and the app still sucks.

3. Login screen takes forever with a blank white screen with a tiny icon for finger print unlock.

4. Also allows quick(er) usage of the app to get information and help needed quicker.I try to load the app, but after the Aetna logo, the screen goes white.

9. When looking to compare costs, if I want to search by doctor, I need to know their first name, not just the last name.

10. Now my pin login doesn't work and it doesn't show the normal login too.

11. Phone/hardware back button doesn't always respond & works inconsistently when it does respond.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Aetna WorkAbility Issues

1. Fix Aetna WorkAbility Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Aetna WorkAbility: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Aetna WorkAbility App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Aetna WorkAbility" » Open Aetna WorkAbility » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Aetna WorkAbility » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Aetna WorkAbility app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Aetna WorkAbility servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Aetna WorkAbility" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Aetna WorkAbility app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Aetna WorkAbility might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Aetna WorkAbility. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Aetna WorkAbility then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Aetna WorkAbility not working


2. Fix Aetna WorkAbility Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Aetna WorkAbility be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Aetna WorkAbility not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Aetna WorkAbility may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
