1. Add-on for Sleep As Android for sleep tracking with Samsung Galaxy Gear watches.
2. It is designed only for the models running Tizen OS.
3. You also need to have Gear companion app installed on your watch.
1. Press stop to cancel" message during the day on my phone, and then at night it won't connect to the sleep app, so I've resorted to using an old android Wear watch that works perfectly with the android Wear version.Works as expected, very good actually - unfortunately uses quite a lot of battery (30% in 7 hours).
2. (And of course, sleep tracking started on my phone as soon as it connected to my watch again) Thanks but no thanks, I'll try this app again next year or so.I turned on automatic tracking in the sleep app and my watch seems to disconnect over night.
3. The constant phone notifications all day every day are a reminder that this add-on has significant flaws.Links Samsung Galaxy watch to Sleep with Android.
4. I do get a message on the watch about Sleep using excessive battery even when Sleep as Android is closed.
5. I have to go to Google Play store, find the thing and open it each time before I sleep, otherwise it won't connect with the watch or at least very rarely.
6. GPS is also irrelevant to the companion app on my watch running in the background all day even when I'm not tracking sleep.
7. It also seems to drain the watch battery throughout the day, as if the companion app on the watch is active 24/7 even when I'm not sleeping.
8. At the moment I'm using it with Sonar and not linking my watch to the main app so no battery drain to the watch.
9. I have to reboot the watch for it to reconnect to my phonei've been using for over a year with galaxy active watch and been fine until the last week.
10. Hopefully an update will restore the original battery drain at some point.Update: A copy paste response about turning off GPS does not in any way respond to my concerns listed below.
11. I left my watch at home, just to find that it was at 30% battery from 100% while it should have been completely idle.
