SuperLive Plus Customer Insights

1. Also when I have my phone in portrait mode it switches to landscape and vice versa! I have tried the landscape mode toggle and it doesn't help! And when I am looking at a fullcreen image and I hit the back button it doesn't go to the homepage but instead asks if I want to exit! Ugh!LATEST VERSIONS BROKEN! Been using this program for years.

2. I have clips that I need to record and after fighting with the timer to get to the right place, because it doesn't just fast forward or rewind, it jumps, so you have to get as close as you can and just watch, I will record and then when I go to end the recording, the app crashes! What is the point in having cameras if you can't even use them for their purpose?! UPDATE 5/16/2020 Still ridiculous.

3. What is the point of having it if you can't view all cameras? The cameras you can view are slow to load and there is so much lag time that people can leave a room and it shows them still there.

4. I scroll through recorded times to move backwards or forward, it either takes a long time to reflect the actual recording of such selected time or doesn't update at all and stays in the old recording.

5. The app is good if and when it works properly on my Samsung Android phone.It takes forever to bring up the cameras and everytime you switch the view it has to reset the camera images.

6. Sometimes downloading the feed at that time helps, but not always.Update 8-3-21 I don't know what happened to this app but the sounds is horrible? Update: I sent an email a couple weeks ago with the same question I posted here and no response.

7. The app signs you out all the time and when you actually need to see something really quickly you have to wait for a verification email even after putting in a correct password and using the same device which takes a while to do.

8. You can view up to 9 camera feeds at a time or just the one feed you want.

9. It's pretty easy to switch screens or pick a time in the past to view.

10. Overall I am not finding many positives with this app.since some time ago, any time I go look at the recording, any date, any time, any camera, it lags.

11. Then half the time it loses the image and goes to the coffee cup or says no data.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix SuperLive Plus Issues

1. Fix SuperLive Plus Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart SuperLive Plus: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the SuperLive Plus App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SuperLive Plus" » Open SuperLive Plus » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SuperLive Plus » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear SuperLive Plus app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SuperLive Plus servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SuperLive Plus" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check SuperLive Plus app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SuperLive Plus might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall SuperLive Plus. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SuperLive Plus then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SuperLive Plus not working


2. Fix SuperLive Plus Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SuperLive Plus be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SuperLive Plus not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SuperLive Plus may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Please help…. I cannot seem to look at live footage of my cameras for my phone, this system is so distressing to operate, always some issues going on with crashing, delaying and other problems, I’ve not been able to check on my cameras throughout the night as the SuperLive plus app seems to have crashed as the screen is blank, I’ve tried all usual methods to try and get it working but still nothing and the screen continues to be a blank screen, I work nights and have my family in my home, I check on them through out the night to make sure all is well, as recently I have been having issues with the neighbours and petty behaviours, I purchased this system so that I could see what was going on within and around my home.. the frustration with this system is exhausting and I only purchased this system last year, please can you sort out this trouble shooting issue as I am not the only one suffering from this problem. Advise asap of what I can do to resolve this issue

  • I have VIPER cctv which has worked, without issue, on SuperLive Plus app on my iPad and IPhone. Unexplicably both have stopped working, they will not connect to the internet and both are saying ‘account or password error’

  • Good evening

    I am hoping for some support in connecting my SuperLive plus app, so that I can view my security cameras on my phone.

    I recently moved house, my new house has pre installed cameras around the house as well as a super live plus box. The man I bought the house from told me how good the service was and told me to download the relevant SuperLive plus app.

    My current situation is that the cameras are working, they are visible through my TV. During the set up wizard, it states my connection is ‘online’ through the internal Ethernet port, however I am offline through the Ethernet port 1.

    I have used the wizard to attempt to connect the cameras to my app, however it is not working. When I scan the qr code (at the end of the setup wizard) it says it can not connect.

    I think it might be because my cameras are not connecting through Wi-Fi

    Any suggestions or support would be greatly appreciated

  • Hello! I'm writing in about a problem with remote playback on the SuperLive Plus app. I used to be able to access remote playback and replay frames from past days, but now when I try to access playback I get a "No Data" message. I tried the AI support, but the troubleshooting didn't work for me. The app was last updated on 23 October. The cables and network have not been changed.

    . May I know if there's anything else I can try? Please also let me know if you need any additional information from me about the problem!

    Please can you provide me answers to these questions?

    I am a Franchise owner, I have different Franchise Locations in the United state.

    I need to be able to view all my cameras in the 4 locations on my laptop and not download an app on my phone, basically to view them remotely on a web browser by just putting in sign in credentials.


    1.Is that possible with SuperlivePlus?

  • when I am near camera system I can see them through android app. Once I leave the property I only see "device offline." When I return I can see cameras again without doing anything. I have restarted phone, restarted app, and it still does the same thing when I leave the property. I was able to see cameras from hundreds of miles away before, suddenly I can't see them no more unless I am home.

  • I installed a 32 camera 5mp BNC NVR camera system and was able to download the Superlive Plus app and use it Okay on my Apple iphone for 2 or 3 months. Then something happened that caused me not to be able to see the LIVE view of all cameras in the system. I can go in to see Playback camera views okay now and can scroll back to within 5 minutes of the live view and check any camera on the system. Is there any help you can give me to correct the problem I am having ?

  • Hello I need your help. We've used this app for years now and we love it, sadly we've run into a problem and I'm hoping you guys can help. Whenever my mom uses her cell phone data the cameras won't load and "network error" will pop up on the camera screens. As soon as she takes off her data and uses our home internet her cameras will begin to work. It's only her app that does this and I don't know what I could do. I even tried to delete the device and reinstall it, but it doesn't work.
