1. Not connecting to the server at all.I think most of the bad reviews here don't understand how this app works, as the IT admin for our organisation who setup the server for ADSelfService Plus this app works perfectly all it really is, is a glossy front end of the website where you do your resets normally, if your organisation doesn't use ADSelfService then this app will not work at all.After enrollment, the app always start at Change Password page.

2. App does support multiple accounts and push notifications in a easy way like with Microsoft authenticator or Cisco Duo...How does this helps the user? From mobile i am not able to unlock my account as well from the PC.

3. Is there a way to change the start page to something else nicer? If yes, i will change my review rating here.A bit better for our regular tasks.

4. Web portal asks to scan QR code for automatically update server settings.

5. If someone face this issue please comment.Not able to update the server settings.

6. Please develop with more and more simplifications to our regular tasks and challenges.This is not properly working with swift keyboard in android (one plus 5).

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ADSelfService Plus Issues

1. Fix ADSelfService Plus Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ADSelfService Plus: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ADSelfService Plus App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ADSelfService Plus" » Open ADSelfService Plus » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ADSelfService Plus » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ADSelfService Plus app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ADSelfService Plus servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ADSelfService Plus" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ADSelfService Plus app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ADSelfService Plus might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ADSelfService Plus. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ADSelfService Plus then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ADSelfService Plus not working


2. Fix ADSelfService Plus Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ADSelfService Plus be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ADSelfService Plus not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ADSelfService Plus may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
