1. I can't believe such a basic feature is missing!!Don't download this app! It's all fine if you want to check your train connections but it won't let you buy the tickets! I've been trying for 3 days with two different cards and it won't take either!! The last two attempts it seemd like it worked but it just made the payment without booking the tickets! And if you think going directly on the website is better you're wrong as the prices are all much higher than in the app!The online booking form is a little clunky from a user interface perspective, further development is required to make it more user friendly.

2. It's not bad for looking up potential trip options but I won't be purchasing tickets through this app again as it is unreliable.Used it once and it was easy to book, showing cheapest ticket options and I like being able to save the eticket to my phone.

3. Once purchased, it kept erroring out and wouldn't let me update the ticket to a new station or time, and then refused a refund.

When buying tickets it's sometimes not clear whether a transaction has completed successfully - it just dumps you back at the payment screen at the point you need to enter your CVC - and a delay in your tickets appearing (I've had to go 'back' several times to get to the home page to refresh to get them.

5. My group tried to book tickets for a trip we're taking next month and after purchase, the tickets we were sent were for the wrong date.

6. I have ended up with duplicate tickets more than once.The issue with this app is how easy it is to accidentally book the wrong journey.

7. For some reason defaults to a single ticket makes it impossible to get a return and then takes £10 to cancel the worthless single ticket it just forced you into buying.

8. It suggested the wrong station to purchase a ticket, highlighting it as the best option.

9. For example, to change the number of people travelling you can't just +1 at the checkout, you have to go back to the start.This app is awful for buying tickets.

10. I hadn't even noticed the delay as it had departed on time, so would never have thought to check if it wasn't for this handy feature.It's good generally.

1. Fix Trainline Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Trainline: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Trainline App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Trainline" » Open Trainline: Train travel Europe » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Trainline » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Trainline: Train travel Europe app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Trainline servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Trainline: Train travel Europe" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Trainline app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Trainline might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Trainline. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Trainline then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Trainline not working

2. Fix Trainline Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Trainline be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Trainline not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Trainline may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
