Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Photo Vault Issues
1. Fix Photo Vault Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart Photo Vault: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the Photo Vault App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Photo Vault" » Open Photo Vault - Hide Photo and D » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Photo Vault » click "UPDATE".
- Clear Photo Vault - Hide Photo and D app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Photo Vault servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Photo Vault - Hide Photo and D" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check Photo Vault app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Photo Vault might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall Photo Vault. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Photo Vault then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Photo Vault not working
2. Fix Photo Vault Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Photo Vault be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Photo Vault not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Photo Vault may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
