myPhotoVault Customer Insights

1. I've had it for over a month and not even half my stuff is backed up, keeps saying I'm not connected to internet when i clearly am, both Wifi and Cellular and i made sure to toggle the setting over any connection uploads.

2. Fix the problems it's slow response, slow uploading speed, and crashesThe time it takes to backup photos is insane.

3. It constantly shows the notification to back up new photos so when I open the app it shows how some pics haven't been backed up but yet it says everything has been backed up.

4. It says all are backed up but keeps counting new photos needing backed up but won't back up.

5. The app constantly keeps force stopping itself which then stops my photos and videos from Backing up.

6. I do not recommend this app at all.I'm sure you've noticed in the comments since the most recent update there is no way to get the app to update the photos in the cloud.

7. It's backed up photos once the whole time I've had it.

8. Still have yet for the app for finish with the backup.This app is horrible it picks and chooses what photos to back up.

9. Wants to backup a few photos at each attempt.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix myPhotoVault Issues

1. Fix myPhotoVault Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart myPhotoVault: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the myPhotoVault App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "myPhotoVault" » Open myPhotoVault » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for myPhotoVault » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear myPhotoVault app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from myPhotoVault servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "myPhotoVault" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check myPhotoVault app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, myPhotoVault might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall myPhotoVault. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall myPhotoVault then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing myPhotoVault not working


2. Fix myPhotoVault Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make myPhotoVault be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to myPhotoVault not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, myPhotoVault may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
