1. I downloaded the Synchronous Mobile app and am pleased it worked without a hitch! Thanks!!It transferred my text messages from the old phone to the new phone BUT it doubles up some and even texts back to me.

2. Still need to reinstall some apps manually, but having the shortcuts there is a helpful convenience.I spent 2 hours installing 3 other apps that didn't work.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Synchronoss Issues

1. Fix Synchronoss Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Synchronoss: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Synchronoss App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Synchronoss" » Open Synchronoss Mobile Content Transfer » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Synchronoss » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Synchronoss Mobile Content Transfer app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Synchronoss servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Synchronoss Mobile Content Transfer" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Synchronoss app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Synchronoss might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Synchronoss. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Synchronoss then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Synchronoss not working


2. Fix Synchronoss Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Synchronoss be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Synchronoss not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Synchronoss may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
