myPhonak Junior Customer Insights

1. I'm able to move my adjustments but when I go back to the main, it resets to the original, not to the new adjustments.I use to love it I was able to connect both aids as one but since my son's aids was turned it to get them fix now I can only add one aid instead of both.As a parent with a kid wearing phonak hearing aids, I would think one of the primary reasons would be to track the lost hearing aid as young kid can't tell you that it is gone.

2. One feature I would like to see is the ability to control both my hearing aids independently.Had issues with the phonak app not recognising my son's hearing aid, regardless of all the troubleshooting steps taken.

3. It would be nice to be able to use the App to help find your child's missing hearing aids.

4. The interface is quite simple and has all the necessary functions without overly complicating this.I would like to see an option for adjusting the ringing feedback present in the hearing aids sometimes.

5. I want to be able to adjust my hearing aids from my phone rather than going to the doctor to do so.

6. Also, you can only have one child's hearing aids paired.

7. I have two deaf children and can use the App for only one child.I had recently gotten my first hearing aid with only a few ways to turn it down.

8. It shows where you were last connected to your hearing aids at.

9. When I had first gotten it my family and I had went to Cane's for some lunch and it was SUPER busy to the point of I was crying cause of how loud it was.

11. When I learned of this app, it made my life so much easier, so now everything is so much better and I can control what I need to control.Great app just needs more features.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix myPhonak Junior Issues

1. Fix myPhonak Junior Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart myPhonak Junior: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the myPhonak Junior App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "myPhonak Junior" » Open myPhonak Junior » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for myPhonak Junior » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear myPhonak Junior app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from myPhonak Junior servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "myPhonak Junior" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check myPhonak Junior app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, myPhonak Junior might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall myPhonak Junior. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall myPhonak Junior then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing myPhonak Junior not working


2. Fix myPhonak Junior Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make myPhonak Junior be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to myPhonak Junior not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, myPhonak Junior may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
