Healthy Savings Customer Insights

1. Will someone please fix this app? When it works, the scan feature is very handy to see what products are part of our savings program.Very disappointing!!!! Every since I've gotten it, I have yet to get any help or savings from it! Every merchant I've visited states a reason why they can't access your platform or find me in your system! Why can't we just use as a debit card with funds to purchase what's needed.

2. Still trying to understand this whole program as I just got this insurance, the beginning of the year and nothing/nowhere describes detail steps about it.Why did I even bother? The savings weren't worth the effort of setting it up.

3. I have tried 3 different stores in the list already with the same frustration at each one.This program seems promising, however it would be A LOT better if it included more than just Cub (super one and other major grocery stores).

4. Not thinking this is worth the aggravation.Many of the items listed say they are at the stores in my area, but they are not at the store or the selection is very limited to the point of it being useless.

5. Did the developer actually user test this dog's breakfast or did they just say "Works for me" and declare it done?Extremely Negative Experience, barely any discount food options.

6. Make the phone's back button work for the app!!!Half the time I ended up spending more because the discounts didn't come off at checkout.

7. Then I get an error message saying that it can't load the page that shows all eligible products under that discount.

8. Pages don't load, it can't gather my data even though I am on my home wifi, which is working just fine.Have been unable to log into the app for several weeks now.

9. Users would be able to actually benefit from this program provided there would be more stores to choose from.

10. I end up going to a store not covered (whole foods usually) to get the items I need.

11. This has wasted time and money because I end up doing 2 stops instead of 1 and they are generally not close to each other.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Healthy Savings Issues

1. Fix Healthy Savings Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Healthy Savings: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Healthy Savings App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Healthy Savings" » Open Healthy Savings » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Healthy Savings » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Healthy Savings app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Healthy Savings servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Healthy Savings" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Healthy Savings app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Healthy Savings might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Healthy Savings. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Healthy Savings then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Healthy Savings not working


2. Fix Healthy Savings Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Healthy Savings be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Healthy Savings not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Healthy Savings may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
