1. Called customer service and they told me to send an email for a refund.Took me a couple days to work it the way it should, adjust the direction on what order you take the tours.
2. For example, we started the tour as instructed from Waikoloa, going in a clockwise direction, and the friendly voice told us we were heading in the wrong direction and to make a u-turn.
3. No need to join guided tours if you are ok with doing it on your own time, renting a car and such! Love all the cultural stories and backgound info.This app has been very hit and miss.
4. My only criticisms are that on a couple of tours we got to a point that it couldn't play the audio, and the timing of a couple of the trigger points is a little short, cutting itself off.
5. The system was locked in a loop of "resume tour" and "audio check." When you tried to listen to individual locations, the narrator fades out after a minute.
6. Example we're following the South Island Epic tour, which says to get into right lane and take a right, but it's actually the center lane and a left.
7. I recommend buying the full package of all the tours because you never know where else you want to explore on the island.
8. On my wish list would be to have the route work on Android Auto, and that the narration didn't use "left" or "right"... Or was aware of the direction you're heading.
9. If only, it warns you one times too many of the many interesting places where your rental company doesn't allow you to take your rental car :)Our own private tour guide! We knew where we were, where to stop and what to see.
10. For that reason, the only improvement I would suggest is that all five tours be combined in a single mega-tour if you buy the full package.
11. Happened a few times, I imagine it's because the tour can be taken in either direction and if the GPS is just a little off it says it wrong.
