1. is the app not syncing or you just dont have any beaches listed?Very helpful, lots of locations, even though, inevitably, you just discovered that empty tiny beach... - which is not covered...The app helps identify... acceptable lakes, rivers to swim at...it helps prevent people from getting affected by different kind of bacteria which they never know existed in the placeLike the idea, wish there was a way to filter search for fresh and saltwater since I live by a sea inlet but prefer to swim in freshwater lakes.This app is awful, I live right on the border of Devon and Cornwall and the closest beach it can find is...youghal...that's 310 km away nope sorry rubbish!!nice app with useful information.

Definitely made for a stress-free outing.The app was great up until sometime during summer 2022 when beach water quality seemed to stop being updated even though they are tested regularly and information posted publicly online.Absolutely awesome that they FINALLY created an app that people can rely on for information on the quality of the water one plans to frequent! It is user friendly and provides exactly what the public needs! Thank you!8 beaches showing in ireland.

4. But, I don't know how trustworthy it is: I've seen mis-matches between the online map icon and the info one gets when they click on the icon (website)...and also mis-matches between the info/rating for a place on the website versus the phone app.

5. When one says the place is green/safe...and the other red/not safe...which are we meant to believe? Defeats the purpose/usefulness of the app.

1. Fix Swim Guide Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Swim Guide: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Swim Guide App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Swim Guide" » Open Swim Guide » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Swim Guide » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Swim Guide app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Swim Guide servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Swim Guide" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Swim Guide app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Swim Guide might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Swim Guide. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Swim Guide then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Swim Guide not working

2. Fix Swim Guide Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Swim Guide be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Swim Guide not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Swim Guide may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
