1. The book is kind of good, but you can do just fine with Google Maps searches.Without The Big Island Revealed tour app, I would've been totally lost in the island! Thanks to this app and the GPS, I was able to get to all the places I wanted to visit and never got lost.

2. We ended up using Google to verify information after having a very bad second day that ended in my husband yelling at me for buying such a terrible out dated guide book.

3. I looked up the the last update, which was 12-16-19 and reminded him that his mother recommended the guide book...Works great, but the integration with Google maps is a bit temperamental.

1. Restart Big Island Revealed: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Big Island Revealed App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Big Island Revealed" » Open Big Island Revealed - Hawaii Pocket Guidebook App » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Big Island Revealed » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Big Island Revealed - Hawaii Pocket Guidebook App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Big Island Revealed servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Big Island Revealed - Hawaii Pocket Guidebook App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Big Island Revealed app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Big Island Revealed might not work.
