Insight Customer Insights

1. The numeric data in the history section shows up, but if you refresh the screen at times, it disappears.Works sometimes, can't get battery status at night,hit and miss the rest of the time.Not very reliable, have to check battery status physically most of the time.Every day I get more and more frustrated with this app.

2. ** 9/7/21 update, after putting v1.14 on my conext gateway, the app is updating faster than ever, much better experience now.Application is super slow to load.. you cannot do any changes to the settings.

3. Also, you're inverters do not show the correct percentage of the battery even though the inverter is programmed... What's the point of this lights on the inverter if it doesn't show the correct battery level.The app still very intermittent in the operation and use.

4. Not what you should expect from Schneider.Complete yunk! Spend more time to sync and connection setup, live data load takes for ever.

5. Stats etc could greatly improve efficiency for off grid applications.Mostly works, just seems slow to update and I've had some problems with it becoming unresponsive.

6. With SE you can at least go to the website to do remote cloud based changes, but it's clumsy on chrome mobile and there are coding errors that won't let you change some settings.

7. Victron and other inverter markers offer nearly all settings via the app using the cloud.

8. The most important aspect of the system for me is the battery and the app only shows current stats and nothing more.

9. It would be great if it includes graphic indicator for the battery charge levels, so we can see this specially when not at home.The app has a few bugs.

10. Improvements: Centric to detailed usage of battery and loads with peak usages of appliances.

11. Also It doesn't have a section to manipulate equipment settings as the web based settings.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Insight Issues

1. Fix Insight Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Insight: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Insight App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Insight" » Open InsightMobile SE » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Insight » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear InsightMobile SE app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Insight servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "InsightMobile SE" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Insight app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Insight might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Insight. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Insight then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Insight not working


2. Fix Insight Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Insight be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Insight not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Insight may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
