PRO CHARTS Customer Insights

1. Waste of an app if people cannot create a profile.have a year subscription and went to put the app on another device i own (tablet) and got charged for another 29.99. Not Cool Pro charts.I'm trying to look at charting for a lake and all I can do is navigate? It's unclear what this app is even for when you're using itCouldn't create account so couldn't see chartsRan my sailboat aground listening to this app.

Also, the best way to store your numbers for use in another persons boat if they have no spots, or to plan a trip from the comfort of your couch.Very simple and easy to use app.Route planning is very straight forward.Works well on phone and laptop which is useful for planning.Tried to create and account multiple times.

3. A similar thing occurred when trying to plot a winding course ending at a mooring field, which is visible only when zoomed in, but not from a distance, where I can see the curves of my plot.The app charged me $2.99 a month for 6 months and never gave me paid access.

4. Had paid access for 1 month, then they canceled my account and kept the money.Great way to have navigation confidence in a boat with no GPS (Duck boat) or a backup if anything happens to your machine offshore in main boat.

5. My guess is this is caused by poor quilting of the underlying chart data, which NOAA distributes in various size charts at various scales.

6. Canceled, then paid $29.99 for 1 year.

7. I get weird effects when zooming in, where half of the screen goes missing.

8. Error every time but no specification as to why.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix PRO CHARTS Issues

1. Fix PRO CHARTS Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart PRO CHARTS: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the PRO CHARTS App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "PRO CHARTS" » Open PRO CHARTS - Marine Navigation » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for PRO CHARTS » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear PRO CHARTS - Marine Navigation app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from PRO CHARTS servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "PRO CHARTS - Marine Navigation" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check PRO CHARTS app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, PRO CHARTS might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall PRO CHARTS. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall PRO CHARTS then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing PRO CHARTS not working


2. Fix PRO CHARTS Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make PRO CHARTS be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to PRO CHARTS not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, PRO CHARTS may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
