1. These layers are marked with a wifi symbol to indicate that they need a working network connection." I looked at all of the layers and none of them have a wifi symbol next to them.I got the pro version specifically for recording walks on my Galaxy S20, but the record feature only works about half the time.
2. Now it works reliably, so I'm upgrading my review to 4 stars -- I'm docking one star because of the poor or non-existent documentation for this issue -- it must be a fairly common problem but I had to figure it out myself. This app is great for traveling where there are no roads.
3. Thanks for a great app!I bought this app so I could track my routes on and off trails and save them for future reference, especially on other trips into the backcountry.
4. Many different options for map layers make this great for offroading, hiking, hunting, and other hardcore adventure mapping needs.
5. It gives you an idea of how the algorithm works and why it may not be a good idea to download a huge area all the way down to the last layer, no matter how large your SD card is (depends on the map).
6. A huge shout out to the support team who has always been very responsive to my bug reports! I highly recommend this app! 👍👍This is absolutely the best app that I have found for hiking! I don't know how they do it, but there have been some new trails added in my area and they are already on the map.
7. Specifically, if you started a "track" and the button went green, and then shut the phone down, the track recording would stop.
8. If you want to track your routes, it has great accuracy.
9. Is there a way to always have the tracks, routes and waypoints displayed all the time? I currently have to select the tracks or waypoints and click the show on map button.
10. When I start a route, I wish it kept track of the altitude gained and/or lost during the hike.
11. Why not let the user decide what zoom level we want?????My Go To App This app was made for folks who understand mapping and the features needed.
