1. I WILL BE REQUESTING A REFUND.Very bad coverage and updates... total waste of money... no updates on vessels 3/4 weeks later.. other vessels are satellite only but vessels show up on other sites...I paid for this garbage and now, after a forced update, it tells me that I need to register to access my list of vessels.

2. I paid for this app.. my friend has the free version.. i notice absolutely no difference other than saving a ship name(which shows outdated information) i would like a refund.. Just tried clicking another ship only to find out that this "pro" version is just a paid stepping stone to the $116mo version.

3. Marine traffic is much more accurate and up to dateLiked it for a long time .., then suddenly it only allows me to have 50 ships (previously 500) ..., its stated the app was last updated at November 27, 2017 ... Guess they don't recognize a downgrade! as worth mentioning ... this is now not! the app I bought ..., I believe I am not the only one who wants my money backCould save up to 500 vessels then overnight reduced to 50.

4. 29/7/22, a forced up date to the app that has made a poor app even worse its slower, behind time and some of the ships I follow apparently don't exist even though I can see them, go figure.The Only Difference between PRO & FREE is that you can Add Vessels to MY FLEET In The Pro Version.... but You CAN NOT Select To See ALL OF MY FLEET At The Same Time... definitely a one at a time option.

5. A vessel I am following has not been updated for almost two months now, which has forced me to install other free apps that are getting the regular updates.

6. Don't bother paying for this app as long as other free apps are more reliable.The app design is fairly good but the vessel data is lacking.

7. And that info seems not to be available anymore.This app does not get the AIS updates that other apps do.

8. Every ship that I attempt to track shows upwards of 2 weeks since last update.

9. Any other ship I click on shows a message about gps unavailable.

10. Give me my money back or give me back the old version, you cheats! Why should I have to log in? So you can collect email addresses and sell them on? No thanks! I've already uninstalled and moved on.

11. Do I need an update? Please advise on how to get the app to work somewhat decently.I have used the website for years to ID boats.

  3. Clear VesselFinder Pro app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from VesselFinder Pro servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "VesselFinder Pro" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check VesselFinder Pro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, VesselFinder Pro might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall VesselFinder Pro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall VesselFinder Pro then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing VesselFinder Pro not working


2. Fix VesselFinder Pro Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make VesselFinder Pro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to VesselFinder Pro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, VesselFinder Pro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
