1. UPDATE 10.6.2020 Every time I want to end an appointment the app closes, causing me stress and anxiety because I have to uninstall the app (loosing all my client documentation in the process) and install again just to move on to my next appointment WORSE APP EVER!Where is the update? Keeps saying an update is available but directs me to this page! This app is not useful to actual caregivers.

2. I cant stand this app.Sheila The AP keeps telling me that an update is needed but when I click to update it just keeps spinning and spinning on my phone don't really know if it updated or not.Need an option to delete tasks that aren't necessary for individual clients.

3. Constantly have trouble updating on my android galaxy note 10+, it will tell me there is an update available, but when I click on the play store link, it takes me to the application install page that shows there is no update available.

4. The updates never want to update, it shuts down on me, and sometimes the signature part won't take the signature of the patient.

5. Big time waster when you have no spare time in between appointments!Can not update app there is no update to be found.

6. While it is nice to be able to see the care plans and your own schedule there are a million other problems with it that I can't list here.Always having problems.

7. Very slow to load.Likes to disconnect from bldg wifis.

8. Getting better but not quite there.Would like to understand why the app doesn't work any more.

1. Fix PointClickCare Care at Home Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart PointClickCare Care at Home: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the PointClickCare Care at Home App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "PointClickCare Care at Home" » Open PointClickCare Care at Home » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for PointClickCare Care at Home » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear PointClickCare Care at Home app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from PointClickCare Care at Home servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "PointClickCare Care at Home" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check PointClickCare Care at Home app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, PointClickCare Care at Home might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall PointClickCare Care at Home. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall PointClickCare Care at Home then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing PointClickCare Care at Home not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make PointClickCare Care at Home be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to PointClickCare Care at Home not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, PointClickCare Care at Home may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
