1. My phone sees the brush in the Bluetooth menu but the app won't connect to anything.I tried connecting my Oral-B BrAun to the app, and it couldn't connect! Even when I turned on Bluetooth! When I downloaded it, the toothbrush could connect, but since I didn't have the smart charger, aka Oral B Sense or Guide, I couldn't connect! But then the next day, when I tried to connect my BrAun, it couldn't! Wouldn't recomend.The app connects the device to Alexa.

2. I needed the app w/ smart tracker so my daughter can see her problem areas and work on them.Awful. Fresh out of the box and I can't connect to the base because the App can't find it, so the Alexa doesn't work at all.

3. Also, the original app that shows you where you need to brush better or if you missed an area doesn't even work with the Genuis 6000, basically a $150 toothbrush with Alexa which I didn't need.

4. Because it doesn't seem to work with any of the three Oral B "smart" connected brushes I now have, including the "Genius."I had connected to the toothbrush and smart charger fine when I had first opened it.

5. I can connect to it as a Bluetooth device but no Alexa.It was a great little app until a few updates ago and then the coverage map showing teeth zones and percentage of zone cleaned disappeared.

6. If it senses it nearby, then why make it work???So to be clear, this is a new app, that doesn't work for any of Oral B's electric toothbrushes currently listed on their site? Only for some brush that's advertised for purchase, through the app, once installed? Just wanted to be clear.

7. However, the integration is poor and the device keeps losing internet connection so the Alexa capabilities don't work.

8. I took it to my vacation house and tried to help my daughter connect to her phone and now it won't connect to my or her phone.

9. Wish the device connected directly with Alexa through the Alexa app instead because you can't customize the device settings as much through the Oral-b app.

Kinda sad :/I like this app because it gives me accountability partner it gives me a charging port I don't have to worry about the batteries running dead which is very important in today's age that your devices are rechargeable we don't have to worry about changing out the battery it gives me performance charts and tipsTerrible app.

1. Fix Oral-B Connect Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Oral-B Connect: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Oral-B Connect App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Oral-B Connect" » Open Oral-B Connect » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Oral-B Connect » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Oral-B Connect app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Oral-B Connect servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Oral-B Connect" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Oral-B Connect app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Oral-B Connect might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Oral-B Connect. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Oral-B Connect then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Oral-B Connect not working

2. Fix Oral-B Connect Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Oral-B Connect be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Oral-B Connect not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Oral-B Connect may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
