Like all apps, the permissions are temporary while in use which anyone can disable.If you don't own the product this was designed for its useless though I didn't think I'd find anything that could turn the screens touches hepatic feedbacks into a temperature reading output, to awnser the young one complaining about privacy, the app Is designed for use with a thermo casual that's more or less a heat vision camera from what I could tell of the in app pictographic displays so yes, to acsess the camera it comes with it needs those accessible, your welcome.

But like most non-contact, variances in ambient/environment is a factor for slightly higher margin of error so its up to the user to weigh the benefits like hygiene or other use such as on bottles or bottle temp water.. For those who are complaining about privacy, the thermometer is connected to the audio jack, and has a screenshot button for sharing hence certain relevant permissions.

It took a bit to figure out how to use it and I couldnt find the all quickly but once it was installed i figured out the rest.Why does this app need to record audio and access photos and files on my phone in order to take a measurement? Red flag for privacy! The app will not run without the invasive permissions.

4. The rest if the time I get retry.Why does a baby thermometer app need access to my photos location and pictures stored on my phone.

5. The degree of inconsistency is very high, I tried using it touching my forehead and all readings have been different! Buyer beware.Great way to check temperature, works really well and is accurate.

6. On top of the obvious issue (that it doesn't even work), the display thermometer doesn't actually show the temperature that the app tells you.

7. It requires camera and audio access to work, it shouldn't since we are just taking the temp.

1. Fix Ba Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Ba: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Ba App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Ba" » Open BabyTemp Thermometer by Baby D » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Ba » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear BabyTemp Thermometer by Baby D app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Ba servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BabyTemp Thermometer by Baby D" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Ba app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Ba might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Ba. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Ba then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Ba not working

2. Fix Ba Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Ba be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Ba not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Ba may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
