1. It would be very useful if it did more than those 2 things like keeping track/history of your workouts, showed calories burned, helped you figure out your BMI etc.The app is finally beyond the 'light phase', and can now sync and pull files from the heart rate monitor as well as update firmware.
2. If you want an Android app that just shows your HR on the app (when it connects to the device) and won't give you any other useful information than that, than this app is for you.Too basic, only useful to show your heart rate and battery life of your Rhythm+.
3. When I saw the LED's changing at unexpected HR's, I went back in the app and checked - the zones weren't what I set! Tried several times, but it seems the programmers just don't like ►MY◄ settings! ¶ Keeping the device - you can see it's connected even in bright sunlight.
4. So you might have a zone change at 125 but the workout is saved with the zone break at 129.Can't get any recorded data with Sync LITE 1.11. The only thing I can do is to see the momentary HR and HR Zone.
5. And I did manage to sync some data from the device and download it, but that's where it stops.
6. Very disappointed, I ordered the device to Europe and figured I can't get much value out of it with it's own app.Rhythm device connected to phone, app and Garmin Vivoactve 3 with no problems.
7. This update actually makes the HRM useful for me for more than running! If only other modes were available to attempt to track reps at the gym.
8. But I am not able to see any historical data, which makes the device almost useless for me.
9. Even more fun is that zone settings shown on the app do not match the data saved from workouts.
10. If the remote stops sending, the app provides no notice of that fact, and remains stuck at the last recorded heart rate.
11. The app can successfully sync the hrm data to strava and a few other providers.
