1. Way to go Meraki!Does this version of the app even work? It only has a "Getting started" button which launches a browser going to the Meraki privacy policy from 2017? How do you actually enrol the device...? Same issue on all android phones we've tried.It doesn't work.

Always has trouble creating work profile and even though the SM app says it's registered, never shows up in my dashboard.There is a bug, Cisco mobile set up app is not able to launch this appWhile there is room for improvement, I believe that Systems Manager is a good MDM solution for organizations on the smaller side of the scale.

3. It doesn't format enrollment codes, so you'll have to figure out that dashes have to be manually entered.Pretty sad that this still hasn't been updated to work with Android 12.

4. Lock device only locks the work profile not the actual device itself and even worse if you get hit with the issue of it not registering due to a "Custom ROM" when none is installed & the policy to check this is off.

5. The reviews here seems skewed by folks who may not have a complete understanding of what this app is intended to do.This is the by far the best Android management product I have ever used.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Meraki Systems Manager Issues

1. Fix Meraki Systems Manager Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Meraki Systems Manager: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Meraki Systems Manager App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Meraki Systems Manager" » Open Meraki Systems Manager » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Meraki Systems Manager » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Meraki Systems Manager app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Meraki Systems Manager servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Meraki Systems Manager" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Meraki Systems Manager app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Meraki Systems Manager might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Meraki Systems Manager. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Meraki Systems Manager then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Meraki Systems Manager not working


2. Fix Meraki Systems Manager Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Meraki Systems Manager be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Meraki Systems Manager not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Meraki Systems Manager may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
